Holder of a master’s degree in industrial psychology and organizational health, Richard also completed master’s-level studies in business administration. He worked as a senior consultant and industrial psychologist in two well-known firms before founding Matte Consulting Group in 1988.

Richard has successfully carried out numerous high-level mandates in executive search and coaching. He recently developed a service that meets a pressing need among senior executives: performance optimization coaching using biofeedback and neurofeedback.

Richard is a member in good standing of the Ordre des psychologues du Québec. In addition to regularly giving conferences and training seminars in human resources and well-being at work, he served for several years as president of the Association des professionnels en santé du travail (APST). He also completed biofeedback/neurofeedback training with the Biofeedback Certification International Alliance (BCIA) and is Certified InterQualia®.
